Tracy Morgan BA(Hons)

Tracy graduated from The University of Teesside in Accounting with Law BA (Hons.) in 1998.  She then completed the Common Professional examination in Law and Legal Practice Course at the University of Northumbria . Tracy qualified as a Solicitor in May 2003 and was admitted as a duty solicitor in 2004 having completed Stage 1 of the Criminal Accreditation Scheme.

In 2003, Tracy qualified as a solicitor and joined the firm. She has extensive experience as a Criminal Lawyer.  She attends Police Stations and conducts advocacy  in Magistrates Courts as well as working closely with experienced Counsel in the preparation of cases at the Crown Court.  Tracy has a particular interest and has developed an expertise in Dog Law .  She has represented numerous defendants who were charged with offences under The Dangerous Dogs Act and has successfully argued against numerous applications for dog destruction orders.

As Managing Partner of the firm Tracy is resposible for practice management and succesfully completed an NVQ Level 5 in Management in 2015.

Outside of work, Tracy has a Level 1 Award in British Sign Language. She is a trustee for Connect (Charity for disabled children) and is an inclusion ambassador for St Helen’s Learning Disability [LDRL] Super League Team

Tracy’s dog Stanley often accompanies her to work and introduces himself with a daily howl !
