Hi, How Can We Help You?

Coronavirus Policy

Coronavirus Policy

We are committed to protecting all our staff, clients and visitors to our offices. During the Covid-19 pandemic we changed our working practices and where possible worked from home in accordance with Government Directive at the same time preventing access to all but skeleton staff. In advance of our office opening, we continue working on current and new matters.  We have embraced IT solutions and have continued to attend upon clients remotely to maintain social distancing.

Our office is still closed although we anticipate re-opening in June 2020 subject to Government Guidance.

To keep everybody safe when we open our offices:

  • Clients will be encouraged (whenever possible) to attend upon us by telephone or video conferencing.
  • When clients wish to call into the office, they will be welcome and for everyone’s safety we will allow one client or family group into reception, which has protective screening, at any one time. We would ask that we are given notice of your proposed attendance so we can keep you safe and socially distanced when you arrive.
  • If you arrive and the reception area is busy, we ask that you wait outside the reception maintaining social distancing. We will get to you as quickly as possible.
  • You are encouraged to use free hand sanitiser available in the reception area and throughout the office.
  • If a face to face appointment is essential this will be facilitated at our discretion as during this pandemic face to face appointments will not be offered as the norm.  Our policy will remain under constant review with safety being the overriding factor.
  • PPE including masks and gloves are available for all staff, clients and visitors.
  • Clients we propose attending upon in reception or our boardroom again at our discretion Confidentiality will be maintained
  • Daily cleaning augments our commitment to safety.
  • Our office will be closed between 1pm and 2 pm daily to enable reception staff to have lunch and critically to avoid any element of “hot desking”.
  • Telephone answering will operate as normal as we can make it in these difficult times but if there is delay please be aware this is only because we will have less staff not that we don’t value your call. Keeping safe is paramount and if you are inconvenienced and can’t get through as quickly as usual you are helping with social distancing and helping us keep valued staff and clients safe so thank you in advance for your kind understanding.
  • If you can access email this is our current preferred method of communication so please get in touch accordingly.

We have been established for 34 years and are well equipped to deal with the changing landscape now as much as in the past. COVID-19 is new to us all and by us working together and being understanding our ability to provide a top- class service in the future remains undiminished.

If you have any comments or continuing concerns or if you believe we can help keep you feel even safer please email us on info@levinslaw.co.uk
